Due to the fact that recently there have been several instances of �dubious� member registration, the registration procedure has been changed. From now on, new members will be sent an email in which they will have to click a link back to the forum in order to complete the registration process. Sorry for any inconvenience this might cause, but it is an extra security step that will add additional protection for all members.
I have made the registration process less automated, which means that before anyone can become a registered member, I will do some checks before I send out the email to activate the account. This will not have any impact on existing members. The reason for doing this is that in addition to the 'forum robots' (automated forum registration programs), there are a lot of people using a valid email address to register, but their only purpose is to send out spam emails to other users.
