It's a fact, in the winter there are NO excurions possible. No tourist no work, thats what most cretans think. Today we may see in our town even now in November may people that certainly don't look Cretan or Greel. These people where coming and hoping that they where able to see something of our beautiful island and what is their SURPRISE ?
Nothing goes....... Time to change this and from now on you can book some nice walking tours at the travel agencies in the old town. We start with the Imbros gorge in south west Crete and the Saint Anthony gorge in the middle of the prefecture of Rethymno. Transportation, guide and a very interesting day is all included. More information at Tourist Services on the beach road opposite the harbour.
