Thought members might be interested to know (if they don't already) that in addition to the Thursday market at the marina there is now a Saturday morning market by the football ground (near police station square)

We went to the Saturday market last weekend. Obviously much smaller than the Thursday market, but it had good selection of fruit and veg, (some organic) prices cheaper than in the supermarkets. Also some plants and flowers (prices not so cheap, we felt), local cheese and honey, some clothing (a diverse range of bras in practically every size, shape and colour imaginable, and 'real' - honestly! - Levis) and household goods. So worth a visit.
