Weekend nights in Rethymnon are brightened up by those restaurants that provide good live music. Restaurant Caribbean, open Friday and Saturday throughout the winter, is one such place, well worth a visit. The in-house band � vocals, piano, guitars and drums � kicks off at around 11p.m. and keeps diners entertained well into the small hours. The music played is an intelligent selection of jazz, blues, soft rock and Greek folk. The acoustics in the restaurant are good, and sound levels are kept just right � so that the music is enjoyable without overpowering conversation at the dinner table.
