Does anybody have any information about the Globe sculpture at the west end of Melissinou Street? You can see a photograph of it on the home page of Rethymnon.biz
I believe that the sculpture is meant for the Rethymniotes around the world not to forget where they came from. It was donated by the 'Arkadi Group' - an organisation of Rethymniotes in the Attica area of mainland Greece.
