1) Walk through the St. Antonio's Ravine
One of the best known ravines of Crete is the St. Antonio's ravine,
also known as Patsos ravine, named after the village near it. It
is about 35 minutes away from the city of Rethymnon, in the Sivritos area. The ravine is about 5 km long and requires about
2 hours to traverse. A small river goes through its bottom and
the whole ravine is full of plants and trees.
  
Rare Cretan wild flowers, giant trees, small water falls,
enormous rocks and the small river will fascinate you. You can
also admire St. Antonio's very old cave-church and get a taste
of the "holy water" which comes out of the enormous rock.

Necessary equipment:
We would recommend you to be dressed appropriately, wearing
proper walking shoes and bring sun block lotion and sun glasses.
A hat is not necessary - we'll give you one as a gift. Don't
forget your camera or video camera!!!
Pregnant women and individuals who have recently undergone surgery or
have serious
health problems can participate in this tour. It is not
necessary to walk the whole way; our mini bus is going to wait
for you in the entrance of the ravine. Children can participate,
under your own supervision.

2) Cycle around the lake "Potami Dam"
You can cycle around the new lake "Potami dam", in the Sivritos
area, in the morning or the afternoon - it's your choice!
The lake is about 25 min away from the city of Rethymnon. You
need about 1,5 hour to cycle around the lake (7, 5 km). There,
you can explore the area and admire its rare flora and fauna.
You can enjoy the lovely scenery of the surrounding mountains
and get a taste of St. Antonio's ravine (you can walk 100-200m.
in the ravine).

3) Sunset walk on the mountain
This sunset walk takes place on Katsonisi Mountain, in the
Sivritos area. It is about 45 min away from the city of
Rethymnon and the walk lasts about 1,5 hour. This walk takes
place at an altitude of 1100m. A huge fantastic sunset view of
the North and South Seas of Crete will fascinate you.
The peacefulness of this sunset walk with a friend, a loved one
or even by yourself helps you to find the inspiration in your
